This jacket is crafted from an heirloom cotton tablecloth that had been in the same family for five generations. Originally woven circa 1910 on a jacquard loom, it came out only on special occasions, being used over the course of a century in one English home. The garment was crafted using a modified pattern from the 1950s, reflecting the age and history from which it is made. It represents the importance of family connection, durability, and a beauty which is found within. This jacket is truly a work of art and my personal favorite that I have ever created.
The buttons used come from an English haberdashery shop that operated from the 1950s-1980s.
