This long sleeve shirt is made using another early 1900s linen from the English countryside, part of the same 45-year collection shared by a longtime textile collector before it made its way here.

Before industrial spinning took over, flax was beaten and processed largely by hand, resulting in linens with a heavier hand and tighter weave than what followed in later decades. These early linens were treated as household heirlooms, often stitched into a family's identity and passed down as a marker of care and permanence. What makes this piece distinct is its origin — chosen and kept by someone who dedicated decades to preserving textiles like it before deciding it was time to let its story continue elsewhere.

Cut and finished by hand, this shirt carries forward both the fabric's original weight and the collector's intention behind it.
